How to make fringes
This guide takes you through a step-by-step guide on how to make fringes on e.g. a scarf or a throw.

1:
Materials: scarf with 1 x 1 cm side seams and 1 x 3.5 cm hem at the ends, yarn, large darning needle and tape measure.
2:
Mark fringe positions at about 4 cm intervals.
3:
Cut fringes 50 cm long.
4:
Sew the fringes up and down in the same hole with the darning needle to form a loop.
5:
Pull the ends through the loop. Pull taut.
6:
Repeat at the other end of the scarf.
