1.Make sure you have everything you need. Print the templates. Cut them out. There are 5 sizes. For the 2 largest sizes, decide how many squares you want in the finished heart before starting to draw. 
2.Steam iron the PAP FAB sheet at medium heat to ensure that it is completely flat. 
3.Draw around the template, using a pencil. Don’t forget the fold. It is important that your drawing is very precise. 
4.Cut along the outer edge. 
5.Fold the pattern piece before cutting the strips. Then fold the pattern piece the other way so that the pencil lines are concealed on the inside. 
6.Braid the strips. Make sure that your braiding is firm. 
7.Cut a piece of ribbon (e.g. grosgrain ribbon). Attach firmly to the inside of the heart with tape or a glue gun.
