1.Cut a piece of cardboard measuring about 32 x 33 cm from the cardboard box. Print the template. NB! Do not allow children to use a sharp scissors/knife. 
2.Draw around the template on a piece of cardboard. Fold the template over to form a circle. Cut out the circle. 
3.Hint: When you draw the lion onto the cardboard, make holes to guide you (see pictures). When you turn the cardboard over, you can see the holes on the other side. 
4.Draw lines with a marker pen. Use the holes to guide you. 
5.Embroider using leftovers of yarn, as you wish. Make holes with a needle first. Use these holes to guide you. For the lion’s mane, we embroidered back and forth into the same holes. If you wish, decorate your lion with Matsuno beads. Sew them on using sewing thread.
