    1.Make sure you have everything you need. Draw or print your motif. If you wish, copy the flowers on the following page.

    2.Lay water-soluble interfacing on top of your motif and trace. If you wish, you can repeat the motif several times.

    3.Lay the interlining over the fabric. Smooth the fabric and interlining and secure in an embroidery hoop. Embroider your motif.

    4.If you wish to embroider a part of the garment that does not fit inside an embroidery hoop, secure the interlining with pins.

    5.Cut off any excess interlining.

    6.Rinse the fabric/garment in cold water. The interfacing and marking lines disappear, leaving behind only the embroidered motif.
