1.Make sure you have all the materials you need. We recommend that you use a chunky yarn. 
2.Cut the cord into seven pieces: 23, 25, 27, 30, 33, 36 + 40 cm. To make a larger rainbow, make multiple arches or longer cords. 
3.Wrap steel wire around each piece of cord, 2-3 cm from the ends. 
4.Wrap a length of masking tape around the ends to keep the steel wire in place 
5.Wrap yarn around the cord. Lay the yarn tail lengthwise on the cord and conceal it under the wrapped yarn. 
6.Gather all seven pieces to form a rainbow. Sew them together using strong thread and a long needle. Sew at the centre and sides of the rainbow arch. 
7.Remove the masking tape. 
8.Use a needle to fray the ends. Attach a thread for hanging.
