These AddiNature circular needles are made with beautiful olive wood with a unique grain pattern.
The needles are crafted from high-quality olive wood in many steps, partially by hand. The wood for Addi's knitting needles comes from very old olive trees in Greece that no longer bear fruit and carry a long history.
Combined with high-quality brass tips and golden plastic cords, a needle is created that feels wonderfully light and warm while also being beautiful to look at.
The olive wood needles are finished with natural, vegetable oil, and organic wax. During the process, the wax is burned into the wood, ensuring a long-lasting surface that lasts much longer than a surface treatment that is simply applied on top.
The hardness of the fine olive wood allows for the production of very fine and long tips, comparable to our Lace tips on other Addi knitting needles. These tips make it easier to knit intricate patterns or double stitches.
