Terry cloth is soft and absorbent – the perfect combination for this pattern, which gives you the option of sewing either a cute bathrobe or a cosy hooded towel poncho for children.
Whether you choose the bathrobe or the poncho, the finished garment gives your child plenty of freedom to move around, play and snuggle up before it is time for another dip in the water – or to get dressed.
The bathrobe has a practical hood, two patch pockets at the front and a tie belt held securely in place by a belt loop at each side. The poncho has a practical hood and a kangaroo pocket.

We make the bathrobe and poncho in cotton or bamboo terry cloth. Both fabrics are soft and absorbent – making them perfect for the purpose.
Sometimes we add extra special details, such as the child's initial on a pocket or a large decorative patch on the back.
