Strong and luxurious quilting thread, made of 100 % Egyptian cotton. It is mercerised, i.e. it has been pre-treated to strengthen the fibres. Mercerised thread is soft and glossy. This ensures that you can achieve a really nice finish when quilting or doing patchwork. It is a good idea to wax the thread with paraffin wax (item number 41031). Waxing ensures that the thread glides more easily through the fabric, e.g. when you quilt by hand.
