1- Cut about 70 cm of cord. Fold the cord in half and tie a double figure of eight knot about 7 cm from the end.
2- Attach a snap hook. Then wrap tape tightly around the cord ends and attach a toggle to each end. Tip: Cut the ends obliquely before attaching the toggles.
3- To secure the toggles, sew through the small holes in the toggles, using strong upholstery thread. Weave in ends.
4- Cut about 28 cm of webbing. Slide the D-ring onto the webbing. Fold webbing in half. The seam should be about half way along the webbing. Fold the webbing a second time at the stitching line to make a neat seam. Sew with a jeans needle.
5- Tap an eyelet hole into the webbing about 15 mm from the end - follow the instructions on the eyelet pack. NB: Before tapping the eyelet hole, poke a hole in both layers of webbing with a pointed scissors. You can also mark the spot with a marker.
6- Insert the snap lock and key chain/key. If necessary, decorate with a patch.
