Bias tape is a decorative ribbon that puts the finishing touches to your sewing project. Bias tape or bias binding is a narrow strip of fabric, cut on the bias. It is stretchy and therefore ideal for necklines, scallops, corners and edges as it follows a curve without puckering. You can use bias binding as edging on blankets and beach towels. You can also use it on dresses, shirts and blouses, and to edge a cute body stocking, skirt or dress for baby.
