Lightweight, soft, and breathable
This lining is lightweight and soft and made of antibacterial polyester, which is coated with aluminum-coated polyethylene film on one side and cotton on the other. It is the aluminum coating that makes the lining protect against heat and cold - and the lining is also breathable and does not retain moisture.
The lining measures 150 cm in width and is sold by the meter.
What projects can you use the lining for?
The answer is: plenty! Use it, for example, in pot holders (2 layers), cooling/heating bags, tea cozies, and nap blankets. The material is wind and water-resistant and therefore also perfect for jackets, coats, skiwear, snowsuits, and the like.
Important: If you want to make a double layer of Meida Alum insulating lining in your project, the two aluminum sides must face each other. When inserting into clothing with a single layer, the cotton side should face the body.
