1- Gather your supplies.
2- Cut the wire in half.
3- Place your yarn as shown and tie a knot in the middle.
4- Place yarn strand A over B.
5- Place yarn strand B over A and C.
6- Place yarn strand C over B and D.
7- Place yarn strand D over C and under A.
8- Tighten the strands until they form a small knot.
9- Repeat the previous steps.
10- Insert the wire once the cane starts to form.
11- Continue with the same process until you reach the end of the wire. Bend the top to create the candy cane shape.
12- Finish with a small dab of glue to secure the yarn.
13- Cut off the leftover yarn strands.
14- Attach a small O-ring at the top of the cane.
15- Thread a string through the ring and tie a knot.
