1- Press batting to the wrong side of the fabric. Using the template and marker, draw stitching lines.
2- Sew along the lines.
3- Sew fabric at the top edge, sew 1 cm from edge until you reach the notch.
4- Sew the zipper into the opening.
5- Sew the lining at the top edge (like the outer fabric).
6- Sew the lining onto the zipper, sew over the first line of stitching.
7- Sew edge stitch through the lining and zipper.
8- Fold the strap lengthwise. Sew, turn to right side and press.
9- Pull the D ring through the strap and fold the strap in half. Sew the strap to the outer fabric (with the centre of the strap over the notch) (0.5 cm seam allowance).
10- Sew the two fabric parts together. Trim seams.
11- Sew the two lining parts together. Leave a gap for turning.
12- turn to the right side, press and sew to close the gap.
