Assembly Instructions – Telescopic Rod
How to correctly assemble the telescopic rod:
- Measure the desired distance
- Start by measuring the distance between the two wall surfaces where the rod will be mounted. Use a tape measure and note the measurement accurately.
- Adjust the rod and add 3 cm
- Extend the telescopic rod to match the measured distance – then add 3 cm. This extra length ensures that the rod sits securely in tension between the walls.
- Press and release to secure
- Position one end of the rod against the wall and gently press it together so it can be tensioned between the walls. Slowly release – the rod will expand and lock securely in place.
- Ready for use
- Once the rod is secure, you can hang your curtains or other desired decoration directly.
Troubleshooting: If the rod is extended too far
- Remove both end caps from the rod.
- Pull the inner tube completely out of the outer one – without twisting the tubes.
- Reinsert the inner tube into the opposite end of the outer tube – again without twisting.
- Reattach the end caps.
- Repeat the installation process from step 1.
Important notes:
- Never twist the tubes – it can damage the mechanism.
- Ensure precise measurement and verify that the rod is tensioned for stability.
- Always mount on clean and flat surfaces for the best grip.
