Sew it yourself: Santa hat for baby

1- Download the pattern. Place the hat and hat brim to fold on the fabric and cut according to the pattern. The pattern includes a 1 cm seam allowance.

2- Sew the hat together right sides together. Sew with overlock or an elastic seam. Turn the right side out and press.

3- Fold the hat brim right sides together and sew to form a ring. Fold the hat brim lengthwise and press.

4- Divide the bottom edge of the hat and hat brim into 4 equal parts, mark with pins.

5- Place hat edge on hat, making sure the seams are overlapping. Place the pins over each other. Sew hat brim in place with overlock or elastic seam. Lightly stretch the hat brim.

6- Sew a tassel or pompom to the tip of the hat by hand. It is important that it is sewn on securely so the baby cannot pull it off.
