1- The finished edge is approximately 3.6 cm wide. Cut the interlining 3 cm larger than the quilted fabric on all sides. Cut a piece of fabric for the backing that is 8.5 cm larger than the quilted fabric on all sides.
2- Fold/press the outer edge of the backing 1 cm to the wrong side.
3- Fold and pin the folded edge into place. Start at one side or end. Sew the edging firmly with small tacking stitches.
4- Fold the corner as shown in the drawing.
5- Fold the edge of the pressed fold.
6- Fold and pin the edging into place,Then sew with small tacking stitches.
