1- CUT JACKET AND HAT: Cut out the pattern pieces and assemble them. For the jacket: Cut out 2 front pieces + 1 back piece + 2 sleeves from fabric 1. Cut 2 collar pieces from fabric 2. Cut out 1 hat (choose between short or long hat) from fabric 1. Overlock/zig-zag all seams on fabric 1, except the front edge of the jacket.
2- HAT: Iron interfacing onto the marked pieces. 1 layer on the short hood and 2 layers on the long hood. Press the bottom edge of the hat 0.7 cm toward the wrong side. Sew the hat seam with a 0.7 cm seam allowance. Trim the tip. Press the seams open. On the long hat, press only the bottom 3 cm.
3- Fold the bottom edge into a press fold and sew a basting stitch 0.5 cm from the edge. Sew on the elastic. Turn right side out and press.
4- JACKET: Sew the collar together with a 0.7 cm seam allowance. Cut off seam corner. Turn right side out; press the edge if the fabric allows it. Overlock/zigzag the neckline.
5- Sew the shoulder seam with a 0.7 cm seam allowance; press the seam open.
6- Sew the collar to the neckline with a 0.7 cm seam allowance, fold the seam allowance toward the front and back pieces, and sew a topstitch along the jacket’s neckline through all the seam allowances.
7- Fold both front edges 1.5 cm toward the wrong side and press; fold again 1.5 cm toward the wrong side and press; sew a topstitch 1.3 cm from the edge. Sew buttonholes and buttons in place according to the markings.
8- Fold the sleeve edge 0.7 cm toward the wrong side and press; sew a topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge.
9- Sew the sleeve into the armhole, sewing from mark * to mark *, press the seam open.
10- Sew the sleeve seam from the bottom sleeve edge to the marking; press the seam open.
11- Sew the side seam from the bottom edge to the mark, press the seam open.
12- Fold the bottom edge 0.7 cm toward the wrong side and press.
13- Sew a basting stitch 0.5 cm from the edge.
14- SHOES AND BELT: Cut out the pattern pieces. Cut the belt to 45 x 2.5 cm + 4 shoe pieces from fabric 3 (leather look). SHOES: Sew two pieces together, with a 0.5 cm seam allowance. Trim the seam allowances. Turn the right side out and press.
15- BELT: Pull the adjuster on the belt. Fold the end around the center of the adjuster and sew together.
