    1.– Cut a piece of terry fabric measuring 54 x 103 cm. – For the edging, cut a piece of cotton fabric measuring 54 x 4.5 cm or a 54 cm length of ribbon. – For the strap, cut a piece of cotton fabric measuring 5 x 12 cm or a 12 cm length of strong ribbon. 1. – Fold the strap double, right sides together. Stitch (0.5 seam allowance). – Turn, press and topstitch the strap. – Sew the strap to the top edge of the towel, centred, on the wrong side.

    2.2. – Sew cotton fabric edging to the top edge of the towel, right side facing the wrong side of the terry, with the strap in between.

    3.3. – Press the edging to the right side. At the same time, press the other side of the edging 1 cm to the wrong side. – Topstitch edging to the towel. Topstitch the top edge. – Fold and stitch sides and bottom edges 2 x 1 cm to the wrong side.

    4.4. Fold strap double, wrong sides together. Topstitch the strap edges. – Sew the strap to the top edge of the towel, centred, on the wrong side. – Sew the strap to the top edge of the towel, the wrong side of the ribbon facing the wrong side of the terry.

    5.5 – Fold the tape to the right side of the towel and topstitch. Press. – Fold and stitch sides and bottom edges 2 x 1 cm to the wrong side.
