1- The finished blanket measures: 130 x 170 cm. Sew 144 + 48 squares as shown (fig.1). Follow our guide to the windmill block: DIY9014. Draw up squares measuring 12.5 x 12.5 cm. Each finished square measures 10 cm x 10 cm. NB: You get 2 finished squares out of each fabric square.
2- Sew 12 blocks as shown in the drawing above (fig.2). Each finished block measures 40 cm x 40 cm.
3- Sew the 12 blocks together. The blanket is 3 blocks wide x 4 blocks long.
4- To hand-quilt your blanket, follow our guide: DIY9015 (fig.3).
5- To sew the edge of your blanket, follow our guide: DIY9018.
