Barn

Choosing the right outerwear for kids isn't always easy, especially between seasons. That time of year when the thick down jacket is too warm, but the small thermal jacket isn't quite enough to keep you warm.

Just for these times, you can sew a nice transitional jacket to keep your child warm - especially if you insert a thermal lining.

The pattern of choice

This jacket is sewn from one of our most popular jacket patterns for kids, with a zipper, raglan sleeves and a chest pocket.

The pattern can be used for many different fabrics and can be used to sew a jacket or a vest. So you have just what you need for the changing seasons.

The selected fabrics

We have sewn the transitional jacket in soft upholstery teddy. It's a nice, fluffy quality that gives a cool look to a children's jacket. The fabric is teddy soft, warm and fluffy and your child will love it. Upholstery teddy is a durable material that is perfect for your child's play and movement throughout the day.

Haberdashery of choice

We have a large selection of sewing accessories such as ribbon, bias tape, elastic, zippers , etc. Often these sewing accessories are available in matching colors to many of our fabrics.

For the jacket, we have therefore chosen a rib in the same color as the jacket and selected zippers, ribbons and sewing label in pink to give a twist to the jacket. We have a large selection of quirky sewing labels. The jacket also has added reflective piping to make your child extra visible in traffic.
